Web Design & Development

My ability to present a lot of information in an organized and easy-to-understand manner makes my website-building skills valuable to any business, individual, or agency that wants to ensure their online presence represents and enhances their real-world presence. I believe in making information accessible, easy to navigate, and appealing to look at.

My design skills can help integrate your business into the online world. Using a platform such as WordPress I can set up a website that is easy to maintain and scalable. Whether you want to share your menu or calendar of events with the world or communicate on a blog, vlog, podcast or any other sort of communication—I’ve got you covered.

I have experience building online stores, blogs, forums and discussion boards, robust event calendars, online newsletters, and information libraries.

Whatever you want to do on the web I can help you do it.

Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska

Having a website that represents all that they offer is essential. It has to be organized, searchable, and easy for people of any age to figure out how to navigate the site and to become a true resource.

re-launched alzlaska.org in October 2021.

I most recently re-designed and rebuilt the webpage for Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska, the non-profit Alaska agency that is the leading source of information, support, and services in the state for individuals with disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias, and their families and caregivers. They offers services statewide to the 12,500 Alaskans living with Alzheimer’s or related dementia but do so much more too.

Having a website that represents all that they offer is essential. It has to be organized, searchable, and easy for people of any age to figure out how to navigate the site and to become a true resource.

They are available statewide in Alaska to provide memory screenings and consultations. They also provide care coordination to Alaskans of any age with a disability

They offer educational classes and webinars for individuals and professional training as well as regular socialization and engagement activities. So having an event calendar that is easy to manage is essential to communicating their offerings to the public.

I’ve received praise from the frontline agency team that the website that I built them has become a resource to them that they never had before. I was able to organize their information in a way that makes it accessible and a valuable resource to the people that need it the most.

The website I built is multifaceted, appealing to the general public but also having resources that are designed specifically to guide and aid professionals and agency staff to work with the public.
